I know, I know... it just turned into spring and snowed a few weeks ago. The daffodils are in full bloom and the mud has barely dried up, but..... in my heart, it's almost Summer. The promise of new life, babies in the fields and fresh air are upon us.
I get so excited thinking about the summer BBQ's and late night bonfire's with family; laughing till the tears are running down our faces. These are the precious times I look forward to, the moments that live in my heart and fuel me through the cold, dark Oregon winters that just keep us on our toes all the way through March. ( and apparently April!)
Morning coffee seems to taste better as the mornings start to warm up, people seem to have a spring in their step and a smile on their face. The sun brings a sense of promise, hope, and makes a peanut butter and honey sandwich taste oh so good.
