One of the best things about our little town of Turner is the relationships that have developed at the Country Corner Paint and Craft Events. Just over a year ago, we began offering monthly classes in hopes of engaging our community and introducing people to our gift shop and our ranch. We had no idea that over a year later we would be welcoming family through our doors.
We have been so blessed to not only see new customers, but we have returning friends that bless us monthly with their creativity, humor and have shared their lives with us. We jokingly call this little family of ours the "Golden Girls" because they have touched our hearts and have become the very thing we didn't even know we were missing.
We laugh, we cry and we have even prayed. We encourage one another, we call each other out, and when one doesn't show up.... you know who you are.... we call and hope everything is ok, because we care and because that's what family does. We lean on each other, glean from one another and at this point, I wouldn't trade it for all the honey and BBQ sauce in the world (but we do sell that in the store and it's super yummy!)
